Our Story

Hello there and welcome to Hungry Pooch Bakery! So glad to have you here.

We are a small, family owned dog bakery. We are located at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in Berea, Kentucky. We started this dog bakery as a way to provide healthier treats for dogs and peace of mind for you, knowing that your dog has an all natural option for treats. As my service dog and I scoured the shelves for good treats with minimal, natural ingredients it was hard to find exactly what we were looking for. So after tons of research, trial and error and lots of sweat equity…and taste testing for the dogs of course, we decided that we wanted to bring you the option of having all natural treats for your dogs as well. We are a Kentucky Feed Distributor. Our treats have been lab tested and approved by the Department of Agriculture. So rest assured that we have taken every step to provide you with dog safe, all natural treats.

When you support our small, family owned business you are helping provide employment for people with disabilities and rare disease warriors. So we just want to thank you, with our whole heart, for giving our treats a try. I hope we can help you feel better about what you feed your dog and help your dog feel better by having all natural treat options. Because we all know that our pets are just as important as every other family member and they deserve the best!
